Baxter House is located at 10 College Street. Baxter House was built in 1901 by Hartley Cone Baxter '78 and Mary Lincoln Baxter. Beginning in 1951 Alpha Sigma Nu occupied Baxter House for twenty years. The Baxter Family Memorial Fund was established in 1973 by his son, John L. Baxter '16 with gifts by John L. Baxter, Jr. '42 and Hartley C. Baxter II '48 in order that all residents may more fully enjoy this Baxter home and their years at Bowdoin College.

Howell House is located at 228 Maine Street. Howell House formerly Alpha Delta Phi was dedicated on October 21, 2000 in honor of Roger Howell, Jr. (1936-1989), Class of 1958, a member of Alpha Delta Phi, a distinguished historian and the tenth president of Bowdoin College.

Ladd, Jr. (1906-1998) of the Class of 1929.
