The Chronological Files reflect a historical method of arranging and recording the daily ongoing of the Bowdoin College Library. This series contains correspondence of and memoranda issued by the library staff, especially the College Librarian or Library Director. The contents, exchanges with Bowdoin and non-Bowdoin individuals, cover most aspects of library operation. The materials are a historical record and will not be added to after 1990 as the... methods of recording and preserving operational information has shifted which is reflected in this resource record.
