Scope and Contents
The Chronological Files reflect a historical method of arranging and recording the daily ongoing of the Department of Special Collections. This series contains correspondence of and memoranda issued by the library staff, especially the department Director. The contents, exchanges with Bowdoin and non-Bowdoin individuals, cover most aspects of the archive's operation. The materials are a historical record as the methods of recording and preserving operational information has shifted which is reflected in this resource record.
