Minimum Social Security
Description:
This series contains files created from 1980 through 1983. Interfiled material on housing, health, education, labor, and human services was maintained by Estelle Lavoie. The material reflects the development of legislative research and the definition of responsibilities in the early era of Mitchell's senate office. Legislation concerning housing, health, aid to families, and environmental problems was in progress at that time. By 1984, most areas of responsibility were clearly delineated and distributed among other aides.
