Description: From the Sub-Series: The Mitchell Papers staff individually cataloged most of the larger format prints in a database containing almost 1,600 photographs. These photographs were taken during George Mitchell's Senate career from 1980 through 1994. They include prints, contact sheets, and negatives. Mitchell's Senate staff kept prints and contact sheets in binders. Over 100 photographs were framed. They kept some small format prints and most negatives in cardfile boxes.
