This series contains files of alumni nominations and awards. Files contain alumni ballots for college overseers and trustees from 1926-1958. Also included are files of nominations for alumni awards and miscellaneous correspondence regarding nominees and recipients. For awards presented at a special homecoming luncheon some correspondence regarding recipients can be found in Alumni Council homecoming files. The Alumni Award for Faculty and Staff, the Alumni Service Award, the Common Good Award, and the Distinguished Bowdoin Educator Award are among the awards for which there are copies of the actual certificates presented to recipients.
