Series Description:

Warshaw's notes for lectures he delivered while teaching at the University of Iowa and Jepson Art Institute, as well as two notebooks that combine sketches and diagrams with notes for lectures. A typescript of "The Painter-Teacher," written by Warshaw describing the process of painters becoming teachers, is also included.
