Series Description:
This series contains Bowdoin College's responses to the IPEDS Academic Libraries Survey. The Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) is a federal agency that collects data for the U.S. Department of Education National Center for Education Statistics. This data is obtained periodically to create a comprehensive picture on the status of collections, staff, services and library operating expenditures in postsecondary institutions. Federal and state agencies use this data for regional and national comparisons of library resources.
