Subseries Description:

Subject files consisting of letters, speeches, pamphlets, clippings and campaign records (including a few items relating to the 1934 campaign) kept by Brewster during his term in the House of Representatives. Information on the campaigns of 1936, 1938, and 1940 is accompanied by files on old age pensions and social security, agriculture and fisheries, the Passamaquoddy power project and public utilities issues, and pending legislation.
