Correspondence between John J. Pullen and various individuals and organizations regarding research for the novel "A Shower of Stars", as well as advertisements, publications, book reviews, and speaking engagements. Includes corespondence with Department of Defense, National Archives, The British Museum, medal collectors, and descendents of 27th Maine veterans. Correspondence includes transcripts of Civil War diaries and letters, as well as photographs of the medals taken specifically for the publication.
