Scope and Contents

From the Series:

Sports Information series contains images of sports and athletics at Bowdoin College that were organized and acquired by the Office of Communications. The images include copy negatives of sports groups, organized seasonally and chronologically. Some candid shots of track and field meets, swim teams, and football players also make up the series. The majority of the images are in negative form, along with photographs and slides. Some of the images may duplicate what has already been scanned and digitized as part of the archives Digital Image Gallery. Additionally, sports team photographs from the majority of Bowdoin's history can be found in the Athletics records: Team Photographs A04.02.03, where they are organized by sport and chronologically.
