Scope and Contents
This series contains information regarding the planning and organization of academic year programs coordinated by the Events Office, beginning in 1970. Files include general planning and details, performer's contracts, publicity, and billing records. Parent's weekend information and files concerning events surrounding graduation exercises (commencement, baccalaureate, senior week, etc.) are included. Files on the Bowdoin Bicentennial can be found here, though the majority of those records are in the Bicentennial Office records. This series also contains records regarding recurring events such as the Bowdoin College Skating School and endowed lectures (Santagata, Spindel and Tallman).
