The Bowdoin Thymes, April 1992 - October 1994
Scope and Contents
"The Bowdoin Thymes," is a calendar of events occurring on campus, and announcements relevant to student and faculty life. It began as a student-edited publication in November 1966. It was produced by student editors through the Office of Communications. The "Thymes" has gone through a number of permutations in style and tone in the years of its publication. It provides a glimpse into the daily life and attitudes prevailing on the campus. In 1994, publication was taken over by the Office of Communications and the "Thymes" became an on-line only calendar of events. The format was changed so that it listed events for a week in advance and was updated every two days. The "Thymes" ceased publication in 1995.
