This series contains an incomplete set of files from this phase (1916-24) of Brewster's career. It contains correspondence and some office files from Brewster's Portland law practice, Chapman and Brewster. Some files, from Brewster's service in the Maine State Legislature, regard legislative initiatives on old-age pensions. Other files are personal.
