This series contains manuscripts and typescripts of outlines and text of Roger Howell's speeches, mostly from his tenure as President of Bowdoin College. Though comprised primarily of Bowdoin Baccalaureate, Convocation, and Commencement addresses, speeches for Parents' Weekend, alumni associations, high school gradudations, and other educational occasions, as well as a few academic speeches on British history are included.
