Many record major historical events, such as the deaths of Roosevelt and Goering; contain articles on people he knew; relate to places with which he was associated, including Bowdoin; or were saved for private reasons. Other clippings, including biographical pieces, published poems, or book reviews, can be found in the appropriate series.
