Scope and Contents From the Collection: WBOR (91.1 FM) is a non-commercial, community radio station chartered to the President and Trustees of Bowdoin College. WBOR plays music of all types, as well as featuring sports and news programming. Prior to 1951 a weekly radio program "Bowdoin-on-the-Air" was presented by Bowdoin undergraduates through the facilities of station WGAN in Portland.
