Topics include minor skirmishes, court marial duties, capture and parole, and routine duties while stationed in northern Virginia, Washington, DC, and Maryland. Davis (Bowdoin College Class of 1864) left college to enlist with the 7th Squadron, Rhode Island Cavalry
