The bulk of the material in this series consists of Commencement Registers, which according to Bowdoin tradition, are signed by alumni of Bowdoin College and their guests when attending commencement and reunion. (Originally commencement and reunion were held at the same time). Homecoming registers are in a subseries for 1979-1994. There is also a register signed by attendees of events held at the Alumni House, 1961-1974, including Alumni Council meetings and various conferences.
