Biographical/Historical Note

The McKeen Center for the Common Good, located in Banister Hall in the Chapel, was dedicated September 26, 2008. "Peculiar Obligations": Historical Perspectives on Bowdoin College's Commitment to the Common Good is a collection of student papers commemorating the dedication of the McKeen Center for the Common Good. The Center provides financial endowment and connections for students, faculty, staff, and the Bowdoin community, to serve the public good. All former Community Service Resource Center Programs (CSRC) are housed in the McKeen Center.
