Biographical/Historical Note
The Department of Religion strives to offer an academic education of the major religions of the world without secular bias. Courses in the department highlight the historical, multi-disciplinary, and cross cultural aspects in religion and its philosophical and sociocultural expressions. Religious theories are taught taking care to how religion is studied around the world.
