Biographical/Historical Note
The Office of Off-Campus Study at Bowdoin College works closely with students to find a program or institution that enriches their academics through the exposition and integration to new experiences. Advising is done on an individual basis, focusing on the student’s academic and personal goals for the study abroad program. Off-Campus also works on the transitions pre and post departure to ensure a successful study away. Their website includes an extensive list of programs available to Bowdoin students in the fall, spring, and summer semesters. Students are able to receive aid through grants and fellowship to cover the expenses of studying abroad.
