Scope and Content
Photographs (black and white prints and 35 mm. color slides) taken by Life Magazine photographers during photoshoots at Bowdoin College in 1939, 1952, and 1957-58. Also included are Life Magazine issues of January 8, 1940 and June 23, 1952 that include the photo essays featuring Bowdoin (Bowdoin Houseparty, 1940 and Bowdoin Bow-Out, 1952).
