Scope and Content

Materials in this collection document the production of the first season of the ABC-TV series Sirens (13 episodes). The collection includes production files, financial records, contracts, scripts and schedules. Also included are VHS tapes of all episodes, music from the first 8 episodes and glass slides used in the filming of episode 8.

Biographical/Historical Note

This collection consists of production and financial materials associated with the making of the television series titled Sirens. This television series from the early 1990's focuses on the struggles of three women of different backgrounds as rookies on the Pittsburg police force. Sirens was produced by Chris Coles, son of former Bowdoin President James Stacy Coles. For information on President Coles, see James Stacy Coles papers, 1928-82.
