Biographical/Historical Note

Clement F. Robinson (Bowdoin 1903) was born in Brunswick, Maine, 27 March 1882, son of Franklin C. (Bowdoin 1873). Clement graduated from Harvard in 1906 and had a long and distinguished career as an attorney and state legislator, and was governor of the American Bar Association (1942-1945). He was also active in numerous civic associations. Clement was author of "The Professor" (1941), "Second Mowing" (1943), "Another Mowing" (1944); and assoc. ed. of the Bowdoin Alumnus (1942-1962). He died in Brunswick 13 December 1964.
