Scope and Contents
The collection contains publications, ephemera, photographs relating to Bowdoin College in the twentieth century including medals and ribbons from track and field, photographs of Jack McGee and other Bowdoin coaches and teams as well as fraternities and parties, along with schedules of events and other Bowdoin College paraphernalia. A large banner reading "When Better Women are Made Bowdoin Men Will Make Them" is also included in the collection.

Biographical / Historical
Daniel Miller was born on October 3, 1932, in Lynn, MA, the son of the late Hyman and Bertha (Alfond) Miller. Daniel received his education from public schools in Swampscott before attending Edward Little High School in Auburn, ME. He graduated in 1954 from Bowdoin College where he was a member of the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity and the ROTC.

Immediate Source of Acquisition
The collection was donated in 2018 by Daniel Miller. Some materials were dispersed into other ephemeral or artificial collections while the remaining materials were retained as the Miller collection of Bowdoin memorabelia.

Collection was processed in 2025 after previous processing efforts had dispersed some material in other corresponding collections. A complete inventory of the collection is available upon request.
