Biographical / Historical
Starting in 2005, the Women’s Resource Center also housed the Resource Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity along with the Trans-Queer Resource Center. In 2017, these centers merged to become the Sexuality, Women, and Gender (SWAG) Center. Since then, SWAG has endeavored to cultivate a campus environment which women and queer people feel safe, valued, and supported through academic, co-curricular, and personal development. Remaining at 24 College Street, SWAG has continued to curate events and programs surrounding issues of gender and sexuality on campus including Women’s Herstory Month, Winning Together, Wild Women Adventures, OUTPeers and OUTAllies.
