Scope and Content
The Counseling Services records contains outreach publications and posters dating from 1987 to 2018. Brochures and posters make up the collection, including two posters on conversations of consent from the 1980s and two posters about mindfulness from the 2010s.

Biographical/Historical Note
The Counseling Service was established to assist students in resolving personal and academic difficulties and to maximize their intellectual potential. The Counseling office was originally located in the Dudley Coe Health Center. In 1999 the service moved to 32 College Street. In the 2000s, Counseling Services shifted its focus to mindfullness and mental wellness.
