Series Description:
This series contains Bowdoin College's responses to the IPEDS Institutional Characteristics (IC) Survey. The Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) is a federal agency that collects data for the U.S. Department of Education National Center for Education Statistics. The purpose of the IC survey is to collect data to describe the institutions of higher education. IC data is used to compile the Directory of Postsecondary Institutions, and for research, statistical analysis, and general information.
