Subseries Description:

Congressional reports and bills, federal department publications, and presidential reports and addresses, 1938-63, acquired by Brewster for reference purposes. They include information on post-World War II foreign aid and relations; national security, including communist infiltration, the Soviet Union and Cuba; small businesses; and federal budget and expenditures. Several items from earlier years, concerning issues in which he had a continuing interest, are also included.
