Bowdoin related: Class of 1901 reunions
Series Description:
Consists of photographs focusing primarily on Kenneth C.M. Sills and his activities at Bowdoin, but also including personal and family images. Present are numerous portraits and candids of Kenneth and Edith Sills from childhood onward, as well as images of graduation processions, reunions, the Sills's vacations to Europe and Hawaii, family, and Bowdoin faculty and alumni. Also included are photographs of the construction of Sills Drive in Brunswick, the removal of timbers from Massachusetts Hall in the 1930s, and the visits to the College of Eleanor Roosevelt, Carl Sandburg and Robert Frost. Unbound photo scrapbooks are foldered in their original order.
