Series Description:

This series contains administrative and legal records, dating from 1989 to 1994, concerning the antitrust case brought by the U.S. Department of Justice. Known as the MIT case, it concerning alleged collusion in setting financial aid grants and was settled in 1993. Although no suit was brought against Bowdoin, the college was required to provide records and information to the investigators.
