Series Description:
This series includes newspaper clippings reporting the progress of the expedition, and correspondence (1891) primarily between John C. Parker (the expedition's surgeon) and his parents. Also included is Parker's journal and diary from the expedition, a poem about the people aboard the "Julia A. Decker" that was read at their Fourth of July festivities, and a theatre program from a play that the group attended in Halifax.
