Series Description:

This series contains correspondence, notes, records, meeting minutes, etc. of the Governing Boards, of their joint standing committees and subcommittees, and of some special committees. Dating from 1962, the files also include the Presidents' correspondence with the chairs of the Trustees and presidents of the Overseers, general mailings, and meeting records. The earliest material is from the presidency of James S. Coles, and includes each subsequent administration. Additional Governing Boards material can be found in Board of Trustees: Votes and Records, 1794-.
