Series contains minutes and legal reports of the American Civil Liberties Union (1974); minutes, correspondence, and other documents regarding Kirkland's role as advisor to the Eleutherian Mills-Hagley Foundation (1962-1964); and documents, including a delegates manual, from a period of Kirkland’s time in the Phi Beta Kappa Senate (1962-1964).
