Contains five subseries: Short stories, Poems, Novels, Plays, and Ideas. Published and unpublished works are interfiled. Drafts, final versions, published versions, notes, research, background information, copyright information, correspondence, and clippings may be included for each piece. Twenty-three short stories, the titles of which may be found in the container listing, are part of the series, only a few poems, two unpublished plays (Heyday for Ids and An Outpost of Progress), and four novels (Atlantical Lake of Tears, Keeper of the Keys: A Bargain, The Not-Innocent, and Stowaway, the only one published). The Ideas subseries contains Hall's ideas for fiction topics and possible names of characters.
