Series Description:

This series includes photographs of the Japanese surrender in World War II, Hale's government trips to Havana and San Salvador, personal travels, and Hale with constituents at BIW, Fort Devins, Fort Preble, and at various Maine businesses. Also included are photographs of Dwight Eisenhower, Richard Nixon, Margaret Chase Smith, and Harry Truman.
