Certificates, yearbooks, awards, biographical data, and memorials for James Stacy Coles comprise the bulk of the series, though there is biographical information concerning other family members. Autographed letters collected by Coles from such notables as Henry Beston, Dwight Eisenhower, Robert Hale, John Hay, and Lyndon B. Johnson, are also included.
