Mostly personal journals, notes for various articles, and notebooks of sermons by Lyman Abbott, along with travel journals kept by his wife, Abigail F.H. Abbott. Also includes a frontispiece for the book "Cone Cut Corners," hymns written by Lyman, Lowell Institute lectures, and a program with autographs titled "1877-1902, Lyman Abbott, The Outlook, Silver Anniversary." There are also clippings, and miscellaneous writings by other members of the Abbott family.
