Contains correspondence (1830-1860) to and from Hannibal Hamlin, mostly within the family. Also includes poems and hymns, clippings, and printed ephemera. A large portion of the correspondence is between Hannibal and Abigail Abbott. Includes a wedding poem and marriage vows written by Hannibal to Abigail. Organized by date. An unpublished listing of correspondence, arranged both chronologically and alphabetically, is available in Special Collections.
