Series Description:
The Advisory Commission for Higher Education Study is a state commission for the evaluation of the impact and characteristics of higher education facilities in Maine. President Coles functioned as the chairman for the commission which provided recommendations for all state associations who held responsibilities in higher education in Maine: college presidents, the governor, Department of Education, the legislature, state officers, the University of Maine, and many others. Material dates primarily from 1965-66.
