Series Description:
Growler was a humor magazine including verse, prose, short stories, jokes, and drawings. First published in 1930, the publication continued until 1948, with a break from 1942 through Spring, 1946. In 1985 Bowdoin students starting a humor magazine learned of the Growler from an alumnus, and brought back the name with their publication.
