Series Description:

The inaugural issue of the Bowdoin Bear-Skin was published in February 1921 and was know as the "Sophomore Hop Number." The humorous magazine contains illustrations, poems, and short articles. Published four times a year from 1921 through 1923, the number of issues increased to five per year from 1924-1927, but many of the later issues were not numbered or dated.
