Series Description:

This series contains records of the operations of numerous faculty committees spanning Coles' administration, with materials interfiled from previous and later administrations from 1946 - 1970. Included are the Committee on Curriculum and Educational Policy, and the Graduate Programs Study Committee. Other important committees were Recording Committee, Student Aid, Student Life, Visiting Committee, Increase in Size of College, Advisory Committee, Committee on Academic Effiency, Commencement Parts and individual departmental committees. The large volume of records shows the emphasis on committee work in the administration of the college.
