Series Description:

Records of the Academic Affairs Committee, a committee of the trustees, from 1981. In addition to trustees, the committee consists of at least one faculty member, undergraduate representatives, and the Dean for Academic Affairs as liaison. The committee is responsible for advising on issues of faculty appointments, promotion and tenure, as well as hiring policies, salaries and other academic matters. Included are meeting agendas, minutes, reports, correspondence and memorandums.
