Scope and Contents

The Community Involvement series includes materials from Rensenbrink’s decades-long professional and personal involvement with local activist groups, including environmental, anti-nuclear, feminist, and other progressive community organizers. Files are made up of resources and general write ups on activism and progressive thought, actions and political campaigns Rensenbrink was directly involved in, along with correspondence with fellow activist groups and information from other American political parties such as 21st Century Party and Natural Law Party. The series also contains Rensenbrink’s work in local government and the nonprofit sector, including the creation of the Topsham Government Improvement Committee (TGIC), Topsham’s Future, and the Caucus for a New Political Science (CNPS).
