Scope and Contents
The Green Party series contains work from John Rensenbrink’s involvement in the establishment and development of local Green Party organizations, the Maine Green Independent Party, and the Green Party of the United States. Materials include general histories of the green movement in the United States, brochures documenting various Green Party campaigns, ephemera from the thirtieth anniversary of the Maine Greens, and documentation from the formation of the Merrymeeting Greens of Maine. Organizing guides, activity files, general principles of the party, and various editions of the Ten Key Values are also contained in the series. The Green Party series also consists of ephemeral artifacts including buttons, pins, bumper stickers, and posters of political and activist campaigns.
