Scope and Contents
This series contains the records of the Publicity Office, what became the Office of Communications and Public Relations. The majority of the records are correspondence with outside publications covering stories about Bowdoin College. The history of the office's transition of duties is vague but this series outlines the general scope of the Publicity Office from 1950 to 1970 with a few documents from the 1980s. This series also includes newspapers clippings, memos, and limited draft work from the office.
