Series Description:
Kenneth Sills' academic lecture notes are primarily notes from courses that he taught at Bowdoin in comparative literature and Latin. These notes include a set of 42 lectures, numerically arranged and a set chronologically arranged from 1935 to 1952. Much of the series is undated, but most lectures are from between 1930 and 1960. In addition, there are several folders of notes he took while he was a graduate student Harvard University. Most notes are manuscripts.
