Scope and Contents
This series contains information regarding the planning and organization of summer programs coordinated by the Events Office, beginning in 1979. Files include general planning and details, performer's contracts, publicity, billing records, and housing information. Information concerning the Maine Festival, the American Mathematical Society conference, and Elderhostel programs are included for several years. Memos about the various events on campus, student housing files, and the Upward Bound program also make up the files in the series. The series is arranged mostly chronologically and then alphabetically. The files acted as active subject files for the Events Office and were acquired directly from the department.
